
Bio
Duro Ikujenyo is a musical troubador, ever roaming in search of sounds, their history and their meaning. He is a keyboardist and leader of the band Age of Aquarius. In 1978 he joined Fela Kuti’s band Egypt 80 as a pianist and was to play with Fela on many international tours and more than a dozen albums.

Duro Ikujenyo & TEN CITIES
Duro Ikujenyo participated in the second TEN CITIES episode of musical collaboration, which took the renowned British DJs/producers Pinch and Rob Smith from Bristol to Lagos in January 2013. Further participants from Lagos were Gboyega Oyedele, Wura Samba, Temi Oyedele, Jah Device and an extended circle of musicians from Nigeria. The Lagos phase was curated and facilitated by Nigerian electro-Afro group Afrologic together with Berlin based DJ and Jahcoozi front woman Mother Perera.
