Congratulations Wim Wenders! Wenders' ground-breaking 3D dance film "PINA" was chosen to be Germany's Oscar nomination while the celebrated German director was in conversation with Canadian dance icon Peggy Baker at the Goethe-Institut Toronto."PINA" is the first German documentary submitted for the foreign language Oscar. In 2000, Wenders had been nominated in the documentary category for his famous Cuban music film "Buena Vista Social Club". Keeping our fingers crossed --and our "thumbs pressed" as the German saying goes-- in February!
