Take a break from streaming films with some “cinema for your ears” as Goethe-Institut Toronto Program Curator Jutta Brendemühl introduces you to the best & brightest film composers in an ongoing video series called "The Sound Of Filmmusik" (takes 1-3 here), from Hollywood super star Hans Zimmer to 2020 Oscar winner Hildur Guðnadóttir.
The name you will hear most in this series: Brecht collaborator Hanns Eisler, as the famous (East) Berlin music academy that many of the artists on this list attended is named after:
