Every year, the AG Kurzfilm, the German Short Film Association, gathers short film gems that showcase the full spectrum of extraordinary film art coming out of Germany. The popular "best of" program is a collaboration between AG Kurzfilm, our colleagues at the Goethe-Institut Lyon, the renowned international short film festival Clermont-Ferrand, German Films and the Short Film Agency Hamburg. We are happy to present you the international premiere of the 2020 edition.

This year’s 15th anniversary edition of the popular project features shorts ranging from bizarre and exciting to heart-warming and hilarious, all while showcasing the artistic, aesthetic, and thematic diversity of German short filmmaking. In a humorous and unusual way, the six gems deal with home, self-optimization, strong women & not so strong men.
