Barry Atsma won the German Acting Award 2018 for his role as Gabriel Fenger. Atsma was born in 1972 in London and is a Dutch actor. Before his acting career he studied law. He became popular with his part in the hit film “Stricken” (2009), for which he was awarded the Gouden Kalf for Best Actor. Since 1993, Barry has appeared in two dozen TV series and thirty feature films, being one of the most sought-after Dutch leading men. Besides “Bad Banks,” he will star in the BBC series “The Split” directed by Jessica Hobbs in 2018.
