
After a busy weekend with Milena Gierke at the 8 fest including a smashing party at the Trash Palace and a fascinating and inquisitive audience interaction at our Goethe artist talk, Milena Gierke is leaving "the country of Michael Snow, who had the most impact on my work", as she said with this impression:
What I loved most about Canada is...
that experimental filmmakers are taken seriously -- and perhaps that's because it is Michael Snow country!
