A critically acclaimed film project in two parts, created with the assistance of the Goethe-Institut, stars
Academy-Award winning actress Tilda Swinton as she cycles around the Berlin Wall one year before its fall and then retraces the route twenty years after the historic events of 1989. "The mechanism of this repeated journey afforded us the opportunity to meditate freely on the whole concept of
borders, history, adaptation, natural cycles of development and a host of other conceptual and existential territories." said Swinton about this unique collaboration with
Berlin-based British filmmaker Cynthia Beatt.
Exclusive limited premiere engagement, playing only at the Projection Booth, 1035 Gerrad Street East, Toronto. This Fri, Sun, Mon, Thurs at 7pm, and Sat, Tues, Wed at 5pm.
