Kate Armstrong is a writer, artist and independent curator. She has been active producing exhibitions, events and publications in contemporary media art in Vancouver, Canada and internationally. Her areas of focus include location-aware and perpetual narrative forms, and participatory projects, particularly those which engage with public space.

She is currently working on an exhibition at the Grunt Gallery and Electric Speed, a series of commissioned artworks for Urban Screens in connection with the Surrey Art Gallery and the McLuhan in Europe 2011 initiative.
