
Once upon a time, not so long ago, it was lambing time in the South Island of New Zealand.
On the lower foothills of the Southern Alps, during spring, the ewe Sunshine gave birth to triplet lambs. She called them Blossom, Dewdrop and Snowy. The triplets were very adorable and they enjoyed a carefree lamb-hood. They woke up serenaded by the sounds of tui and bell-bird and they danced and played around in the daffodil meadow. Whenever they were hungry or thirsty, they nursed on Sunshine, who loved them to bits.
