Study Tour for representatives of LIS schools

As a continuation or even a background to my last blog entries, I wanted make a note of a study tour for representatives of the North American Library and Information Science (LIS) Schools that the Goethe-Institut New York is organizing. The background is the attempt to initiate a stronger contact and exchange between German and North American LIS Schools. Six participants from schools in the USA and Canada will have the opportunity to visit schools in Germany and speak with faculty members of German LIS Schools.

Die IATUL (International Association of Technical University Libraries http://www.iatul.org/ ) ist auch betrachtungswert, und von einigen Bibliotheken im deutschsprachigen Raum vertreten.

IATUL is als worth noting and includes members from couuntries in which German is the official language.

Es lohnt sich, von IATUL zu wissen.

IATUL is worth knowing about.
