Neighborhood libraries

Forest Hills

Items in English, Russian, Chinese, Hebrew.
- a large event room goes along with a very nicely arranged Children’s Library. It has a lot of toys for the youngest ones and it’s very well received. Adults come with their children. At certain times there are also speech therapists and other specialists present to advise parents about questions regarding child development.

Sunny Side

Items in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Hindi

- again, an offering to help children minimize their late fees: reading stories to other children is rewarded with the sought-after Library Bucks.

Woodside

- a very beautiful, old building

...and now a sightseeing tip: Since last week, New York has had four artificial waterfalls. One of them is underneath the Brooklyn Bridge. It looks wonderful! The installation remains until October. In case anyone has the opportunity...
