Released in mid-December “LibWorld – Library Blogging Worldwide” . An interesting overview of the international librarian blogging scene. Although released in Germany (stemming from another initiative by infobib.de ), there is no overview of the blogging scene in Germany. As a newcomer in the blogging world, I found it most interesting that Walt Crawford, in his preface, settled on the worldwide number of library blogs between 1000 and 2000.
Fascinating lecture. That the USA has by far the most blogs would not surprise anyone, but in Malawi, Greece and Trinidad, librarians are blogging.
(I found this information at the "Librarian in Black"-Blog by Sarah Houghton-Jan, who also wrote the American article.)
