Rites and rituals (Berlin): religions
Celebration and Berlin suit one another. Berlin hosts some of the most famous clubs and festivals and is a popular destination for party tourists. Much more stressed is Berlin's relation to religion, not only due to its antireligious history, most recently in the communism. Still, if you look closely, you can find a vibrant variety of religious rites and rituals in Berlin. I've explored these religious niches and have met - as displayed in the sequence of these five pictures - Christians, Jews, Muslims and Hindus.

Wow!! Great pix Max. Love the colour, emotion and movement in your photos. You sometimes forget about the multi-culturalism and everything that goes on in certain communities when winter hits and most people stay indoors!
