From January through December 2011, these were the parameters for a playground of diverse, fascinating, vibrant tales: Responding individually to a collective impetus, a host of hand-picked young bloggers uploaded photos, texts, and multimedia. Every month, they were given a new theme. Step by step, they created a kaleidoscope of impressions, opinions, ideas and… plain fun.

Taman Lawang - Jakarta

Taman Lawang is a famous district of transvestites prostitutes in Jakarta.
This area is known by a fairly high crime rates. Lots of robberies and violent acts that occurred there.

This is a picture from some of the transvestites in Taman Lawang. I took these photos about 2 years ago and these photographs have been exhibited at Goethe Haus Jakarta with the theme ' Mendamba Tubuh (Desiring the Body)'. Exhibition that featuring images from photographer's perception of the female body and its reflection of social relations in society.

Stepping into another's shoes: web-'love' in Bangkok.

There is a culture of on-line flirting and hook-ups among Thai youth. I asked my friend Kwaang to help me explore it. She just said “Here, use my account to log in to them" [the social-networking sites and web-boards], so I used her online identity to explore my on-line love options as a 24-year-old Thai woman.
