Over the course of 12 months, comic artists from nine cities in Germany and South-East Asia create an ongoing story each. The comics' key protagonists are sent on a journey, experiencing a variety of situations in their respective urban environments.
All nine artists respond to the same set of monthly themes provided by Goethe-Institut. The stories' twelve chapters are uploaded on a monthly basis into the blog platform “CityTales”.
Songsin Tiewsomboon, also known as "UP", is a young Thai graphic novel artist and comics writer. 
Berlin's own Mawil relates his autobiographical experiences in charming and honest ways.
